As founder and managing director of Belvoir Real Estate Group, Matthew Goldsby is passionate about building people, properties and communities. Matthew’s background includes nearly 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry spanning brokerage, management, development and investment services. He brings a unique perspective and a creative approach to every challenge, and he fosters an internal culture of mentorship and continuous growth. A well-respected Houston real estate professional, Matthew has worked transactions and projects cumulatively valued at over $700 million throughout his career and has overseen Belvoir’s rapid organic growth since 2012. Along with his wife Meredith and their two daughters, he is active at St. Michael Catholic Church. Matthew is currently working on his MBA at Rice University.
Brad brings nearly 30 years of experience in the management and leasing of commercial office buildings to Belvoir. He has worked with well-known real estate companies including Hines & Caldwell Watson, with portfolios including high-profile Class A properties in the Houston CBD, Class A and B suburban office properties and mixed-use office warehouse properties. Brad’s expertise includes, but is not limited to, construction management, disaster recovery and restoration, LEED and Energy Star certifications, property and financial management, and leasing. The native Texan earned his bachelor’s degree in general business administration/finance from Sam Houston State University. He is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association and Institute of Real Estate Management. He is also a Certified Property Manager and a Licensed Real Estate Salesman.
Kyle works as part of Belvoir’s brokerage team to assist corporate clients, investors and owners with their commercial real estate needs. Prior to joining Belvoir, Kyle worked for a boutique real estate firm in The Woodlands. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from McNeese State University and a Master’s in education from Lamar University, and is currently in the process of obtaining his CCIM certification.
As a senior associate with Belvoir Real Estate Group, Sean plays an integral part in the growth of our industrial brokerage services. He specializes in the full range of both tenant and landlord representation services, including acquisition and disposition transactions. His unique perspective and sales experience serve to enhance both large and small industrial users, including several Fortune 500 companies. Sean earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in education from Sam Houston State University. He is a native Houstonian and member of the Baytown Chamber of Commerce.
After decades of marketing and lease administration in one of Houston’s premier business districts, including 4.3 million square feet of Class A office space, Barbara joined Belvoir’s brokerage team to advise on property leasing and business development activities. Her past transactions include Fortune 100 companies such as AT&T, ConocoPhillips, Exxon and Invesco.
As part of the Belvoir team, Omar leverages his HVAC and electrical training to make sure his assigned buildings’ electrical, plumbing and A/C systems are operating effectively. Omar’s prior work experience includes 17 years with a grocer supplier, and he was previously a general maintenance coordinator.
Carlos brings 25 years of experience as a building engineer to the Belvoir Real Estate Group team. In his role, he is responsible for keeping our commercial property well-maintained so that our tenants are safe, comfortable and happy. Carlos combines extensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing and energy management knowledge with a proactive, customer-focused approach that sets him apart. Prior to joining Belvoir, Carlos worked with Transwestern, Unilev and CBRE, and has served as chief building engineer where he oversaw four properties.
Brad joins the team with three years of experience as an options and commodities analyst as well as two years as an analyst with another large commercial real estate services firm. As investment manager, he works to ensure that commercial real estate deals satisfy the needs of Belvoir’s clients and other stakeholders. He graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University and received his Master of Public Affairs in economics from the University of Texas at Austin. Brad is in the process of obtaining his CFA certification.
Jennifer is a certified public accountant with more than 15 years of experience in accounting and informational systems software. She previously served as controller for an internationally respected commercial real estate investment, management and brokerage firm where she became familiar with cross-currency reporting and operational division accounting. Jennifer graduated from the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University in 1996 and received her CPA license in 2000.
With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Rose has joined the Belvoir team as a high-energy professional skilled in asset preservation and operations. Her background includes years of property and real estate management across multiple asset types, and as a senior property manager with Belvoir, her customer service and collaboration skills keep our business going places.
With a dedication to customer service and extensive background in property management, Aurora helps keep things running smoothly at the “Denmark House,” an exciting addition to Belvoir’s office portfolio. As property manager, Aurora builds relationships, sees to tenant needs and keeps a well-trained eye on the property to ensure all is working as it should.
Della brings 25 years of management experience to Belvoir, having personally managed over 5 million square feet of commercial property. Her expertise includes property operations, lease administration, project management, capital improvements and financial reporting.
James has over 30 years of experience in development and construction, including interior finish-outs and new construction. He adds great value for Belvoir clients from feasibility studies to final project completion. James oversees all activities of the design team, including bidding, contracting, budgeting and scheduling and document controls.
Graduating Cum Laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor’s degree in finance, Nick joins the Belvoir team as an experienced professional in both business administration and real estate. As an associate with Belvoir, Nick works within the brokerage team and brings past experience in acquisitions and finance to his role, as well as training in leadership.
Gabe has joined the team with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baylor University, and experience in excel modeling, financial statement review and company valuation. With a focus in finance, real estate and entrepreneurship, Gabe brings international experience in asset management and real estate in Europe to his role at Belvoir.
John joins Belvoir as a driven and self-motivated real estate professional. With a background in retail, commercial real estate, and entrepreneurial pursuits, John is a dynamic sales professional with an eagerness to learn. He brings an ability to think outside the box and implement creative strategies to Belvoir’s brokerage team. His intense drive to fully understand each individual client’s needs paired with his in-depth product and market knowledge gives him the ability to uncover unique investment opportunities.
Positive, friendly and people-oriented, Daniel joins the Belvoir team ready to make his mark as an Associate. His background as a professional athlete and his achievements in Major League Baseball have given him strong organizational skills, dedication and discipline. Daniel thrives under pressure and is willing to go above and beyond for his clients to meet their real estate needs.
Matt Franques brings a wealth of transactional experience to his role with Belvoir. A native of The Woodlands, he earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and energy management from the University of Oklahoma and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Tulsa. Prior to joining Belvoir, Matt had an extensive background in the oil and gas industry. Most recently, he was a landman with an upstream operator in Oklahoma, where he purchased and closed more than 1,000 net mineral acres in the STACK and SCOOP plays, managed an extensive mineral portfolio and maintained relationships with the state’s largest oil and gas producers. As an associate, Matt works with our brokerage team to close commercial real estate deals.
A dedicated team player who’s no stranger to networking, Varun brings a worldly mindset to his role with Belvoir. He earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture from India’s SRM University and later worked as an architect for Rubber Soul. While working on various residential and hospitality projects, he became interested in the business side of the industry. Wanting to learn more about structuring real estate deals and to pursue his passion for development, Varun moved to the U.S. in 2018. Following the move, he earned his master’s degree in land and property development from Texas A&M University. As the international advisor, Varun aids the brokerage team with document management and provides the support necessary to close commercial real estate deals.
Caylin serves as Belvoir’s Talent & Event Specialist, providing guidance and management related to HR and talent acquisition, in addition to coordinating special events and company marketing events. A graduate of Sam Houston State with a PR degree, Caylin brings ample creativity, enthusiasm and marketing knowledge to the team.
Creativity comes second nature to Jaimie, a marketing specialist who brings a passion for advertising and design to Belvoir. Her past experience includes a creative design internship that placed creative thinking and problem-solving front and center. Most recently she worked with Inservio3, designing marketing materials and aiding in efforts to increase company awareness while targeting specific audiences. Jaimie earned her bachelor’s degree in advertising, with a minor in communications technology, from the University of Houston. In her role as marketing specialist, she puts her expertise to work in ways that help communicate the company’s projects, milestones and related messaging to clients and the general public alike.
Annemarie brings marketing know-how and a dedication to customer service to her work with Belvoir. The Katy, Texas, native obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stephen F. Austin State University, where she minored in graphic design. Previously, she served as a marketing intern for her alma mater’s Rusche College of Business. She also assisted with marketing development for the Nacogdoches HOPE Food Pantry, where she used her graphic design skills to help redesign their website. In her role as marketing coordinator, Annemarie aids in the development of marketing materials, and in helping Belvoir execute the company’s overall marketing strategy.
With a background in customer service and marketing, Renee is dedicated to helping great people make the most of great properties. The Houston native earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a focus on sales, from Texas State University. Her past experience includes marketing support for Houston’s CannonDesign Architects. Most recently, she served as marketing coordinator for Salas O’Brien Engineering, managing company events, carrying out market research and tackling a range of business development and marketing initiatives. Outside of the office, Renee has served on the Education Committee for the Society of Marketing Professional Services.
Kirsten brings a penchant for event planning, expansive organizational skills and a knack for client relations to her role with Belvoir. The Coppell, Texas, native previously put her graphic design and marketing know-how to work for philanthropic events nationwide. Most recently she served in the Aloha State, working as station manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Kona, Hawaii. Kirsten earned her bachelor’s degree in management from Sam Houston State University. Today, as executive administrator, the team player provides behind-the-scenes support to ensure successful real estate deals, healthy client relationships and smooth sailing during daily office life.
Caitlyn brings a dedication to a job done well — and a nose for numbers — to her internship with Belvoir. An avid golfer and current University of Houston student, the Pearland, Texas, native is working toward a degree in finance. As finance intern, Caitlyn assists Belvoir’s Baytown office with calculations and data management related to day-to-day office life and commercial real estate deals.
