Prior to coming on board at Belvoir, I spent 10 years at Lionstone Investments ($10b AUM Real Estate Private Equity Firm), most recently within a Senior Director capacity overseeing $2.5 billion of institutional commercial real estate portfolios on behalf of pension funds and endowments.

Do you have any hobbies?

I enjoy scenery and being outdoors, which also naturally leads to traveling as a prime hobby. During the winter, I enjoy skiing with the family; we get fairly competitive [in a friendly manner] with each other. Otherwise, I am always up for a spontaneous weekend trip to escape the Houston heat in the summers. Other hobbies include reading books on a wide variety of topics (fiction or non-fiction) and staying in tune with the capital markets.

What does the Belvoir mission statement mean to you?
“Building people, practice, and property to their best purpose and highest value”

The mission statement brings about two overarching themes as I read it: intellectual curiosity and relentless improvement – personally, professionally, and towards properties. Finding the best purpose and highest value in any of these topics requires one to have the intellectual curiosity to pursue such an answer and equally important, requires a mindset of relentless improvement to execute. Both of these themes seem to be woven within the characters of the Belvoir team members based on my short time here thus far; I am lucky to be at a firm with high-caliber individuals striving to be the best version of themselves and for those around them day in and day out.
